5 July 2008: PNZ Representative and Coaching Structure
A diagram of the PNZ Representative pathway for 2009 that appeared in Pétanque New Zealand is now available for printing (MS Word 53kB). The full article is also available on the PNZ website.
3 July 2008: PNZ Representative and Coaching Structure
The Autumn 2008 issue of Pétanque New Zealand contains details of the planned 2008-09 national representation process. This replaces the process that was announced following the 2006 Representation review and subsequently endorsed at the 2008 PNZ Annual General Meeting in April.
Since not everyone subscribes to the magazine (see the PNZ website for subscription details), details of the Open and Female Representation process have been placed on this website.
The process for Senior Representation was also announced in the magazine. Details of the Senior process have been placed on this website.

Links to the National Representation Registration form are in the article.
A copy of the form was emailed to Club contacts by the PNZ Secretary on 2 July.
The Regional Coach mentioned in the process is Graeme Morris from the Masterton club.
Details on the Coaching Structure have yet to be released.
28 June 2008: Jacques Cochonnet Challenge
Park Avenue started their challenge strongly against Masterton winning 2 of the 3 first round matches. However, Masterton fought back winning 5 of the remaining 6 games to secure the match 6-3.

Singles: Ralph Priddle vs. Tommy Werry 7-13, 13-11, 13-8;
Doubles: Myrna Lane/Graeme Morris vs. Barbara Nicholls/Enoka Smiler 8-13, 13-0, 4-13;
Triples: John Clark/Barbara Johnston/Murray Johnston vs. Robin Mann/Graeme Pilcher/Monica Smiler 13-5, 13-6, 13-6;
The final match in Round 11 will see Masterton play Hataitai at Hataitai.

Masterton retained the Jacques Cochonnet Trophy by beating Horowhenua by 6 games to 3 in their match at Levin.
