SSU MEN’S AND WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY TEAMS
QUALIFY FOR NATIONALS
The Shawnee State Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Teams both
received at-large bids to qualify for the National
Championship Meet which will be held in Kenosha, Wisconsin
on Saturday, November 22. The women’s race will begin at
10:30 a.m. and the men’s race will start at 11:45 a.m.
This
is the first time that the Shawnee State Women’s Team, which is
currently ranked 16th in the NAIA, has ever qualified
for the National Championship Meet. The Women’s Team secured
the at-large bid after placing 3rd at the American
Mideast Conference Championship Meet on November 8th.
This
is the third time that Shawnee State Men’s Team has qualified
for the NAIA National Championship Meet. The Men’s Team secured
the at-large bid after they placed 3rd at the AMC
Championship Meet.
