State Tournament.
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Women's Rugby Football Club is traveling to Danville, VA for the annual State Championships. Round one games were played on saturday, and the championship game is on sunday. UNCWRFC has made it to the championship game and the outcome will be posted shortly!

Rugby is more then just a game of brute strength and determination, it is a mind game where the team with the clearest most fluid attack style and way
of playing, this so called technique, will prevail and the movement of the ball around opponents instead of crashing into them will be of utmost importance to
each and every player who handles the ball at this level of Rugby. Take a word from our coach and start thinking about how to get around the player, and not
always imagining what you would do after getting taken down to the dirt...

Practices are on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Tuesday practices are held at Hooker Field #4, from 8:00pm-10:00pm, Thursday and Friday practices are held at Eringhaus field from 6:30pm - 8:30pm.
- Cleats, Running Shoes, sweats, water, and a mouth guard are all the materials necessary for practice. This is a full contact sport so be mentally prepared, but most of all come prepared to have a whole lot of fun.
Are you interested? Don't hesitate to check us out. Come to practice just to watch, or talk to our recruitment chair Monique Araujo.
