The Vancouver Girls Soccer Association was formed in the spring of 2007 as an initiative to consolidate girls soccer in the Vancouver area. The new club boasts 16 teams this season at both the Silver and Gold level from U10 to U18. Players come from all areas of Vancouver - east and west. The club believes that girls soccer in Vancouver can only thrive if soccer moves away from a neighbourhood-centric focus and starts encompassing the larger Vancouver area, especially at the divisional level.

There has been some question about team sizes for Mini Soccer. The following is copied from the BCSA Rules and Regulation

To all players and parents.
Nearly all of our eleven aside teams are full to the brim and there is no room available unless someone drops out.
There is some space at U8 and U10 but these teams are filling rapidly. You can register online by clicking here

Wanderers On Track For Treble
The VGSA Wanderers (U17 Gold 1 Girls) clinched two cup victories last week, winning the IDC Cup against the Tsawwassen Extreme on Thursday, April 3 and then securing the Costal Cup two days later against the Semiahmoo Kaos.
