AC Milan has used it to become champions and if you observe you can see that the midfield is well protected and creativity looks evident. But, I see one problem the striker can be easily isolated and he will be marked most of the time by 2 defenders. The attacking midfielders have to be in constant motion or else they will also be isolated and their attack is going to be nothing dangerous. Defensively I think this formation is very solid, but in my opinion this is a hard formation to play. What you do think about this formation? But, sometimes it is impossible to align all of them because the max is 11. So, I studied and thought what could be the best formation for Manchester United(present) and it's players. I came to the conclusion of a 4-3-3. A lot of you are going to argue that the 4-4-2 is the best. But, for Manchester I believe this is the best. I have come to the understanding that all English teams need a back 4 so I put a back 4. Now, the question is how am I going to arrange 5 talented offensive minded players? So, what I did was put Ryan Giggs and Cristiano Ronaldo in their usual position. In the midfield I put Scholes as defensive midfielder to hold the midfield while 5 players attack as they wish. In the final part I put Wayne Rooney as shadow striker(second striker) to feed balls to Carlos Tevez and Berbatov and score himself.
