- Sania Mirza var yt_video_width = 425; var yt_video_height = 350; /* The css selector bellow controls the blog width and position on the page. If you want to change the width of your blog you need to change the position too if you want your blog to stay in the middle of the page. So let's say that you want to change your width to 705px. To calculate the exact position that will situate your blog in the middle you need to add 35px to the desired width and to divide the sum by 2. In our case we sum 705 and 35 and then we divide the sum 740 by 2 which give us the result of 370. So the selector bellow will look in the following way after the change: #page { width: 705px; left: -370px; } */ #page { /*width: 835px; left: -435px;*/width: 705px; left: -370px; } /* Here you can change the header image and the height of the header too. Here is an example: #header_1 { background-image: url(http://www.saniamirza.info/wp-content/themes/greening/images/tree.jpg); background-position: top center; background-repeat: no-repeat; height: 250px; } */ #header_1 { background-image: url(http://farm1.static.flickr.com/132/375621910_8241e5ae83_o.jpg);height: 400px; } /* The last two selectors controls the correlation between the sidebar menus' width and the contents' width. I suggest the sum between these two widths to be little than 100 or equal to 100. An example follows: #sidebar { width: 35%; } #text { width: 65%; } */ #sidebar { width: 27%; } #text { width: 72.5%; }     RSS:  Entries | Comments

Posted in News by Admin 1 Comment Sania in 3rd round - Doubles July 3rd, 2007 2:26 pm The partnership of Sania Mirza and Israel born Shahar Peer is looking good after they beat Agnes Szavay and Vladimira Uhlirova in the second round in women’s doubles. The Indian-Israel pair beat the european team in straight sets : 6-4 6-3 after their match was interrupted by rain on monday. The next match for the two ladies is going to be extremely tough when they come up against the top seeds - Lisa Raymond and Samantha Stosur. If rain permits Sania will play her 1st round mixed doubles match with fellow Indian Mahesh Bhupathi against the pair of Janette Hasurova(Slovakia) and David Skoch(Czech Republic). Posted in Wimbledon by Admin No Comments French Open Preview May 25th, 2007 2:12 pm Sania Mirza will play 87th ranked Alberta Brianti in the first round at Roland Garros this year. Sania will be favourite to go through against the little known Italian player, who turned 27 earlier last month. She has played 7 tournaments this year winning a total of 3 matches. She lost in the first round of the Australian Open this year as well as the French Open last year.Sania is ranked 52nd in the world and is unseeded for the tournament. She has played in the French Open twice and lost in the first round both times. She returned from injury recently and has not been in the best of form losing early in the last two tournaments she played in. She should be a clear favourite against Brianti. She has a potentially difficult second round tie against 7th seeded Serbian, Ana Ivanovic. Also in her part of the draw are 12th seed Daniela Hantuchova and 3rd seed Svetlana Kuznetsova, who she could come up against in the quarter-finals. You can come back anytime to check the progress she makes throughout the tournament, which begins on Monday.
