The Sidekick Foundation | Welcome
Welcome to the Sidekick Foundation's website! Over 50 psychological and
medical studies done over the past 35 years show that martial arts training
can improve mental, physical and spiritual health. In just a few short
years we have grown to over 100 chapters throughout the U.S. We,
along with our martial arts studio partners provide scholarships for individ
uals
to take martial arts lessons thus building their mental, physical or spiritual
strength to live a healthier, more value-oriented life. For at-risk children,
special needspeople and the elderly this training can very substantially
improve their quality of life for the rest of their lives.
"Dear Sidekick Foundation and all the generous people who lend their support,
I sit here and think of all that the Foundation has meant to my family and my eyes fill
up with tears. The Sidekick Foundation has continued to be a constant means of support
to my family, especially my son, now 12. His father had become ill - then more ill. Thank you
