The California Triple Crown is an elite cycling event. Winners must finish three Double Century bike rides in a single year. Darryl is a USA Cycling Certified Coach and an endurance cyclist who has completed 28 Double Centuries and 7 California Triple Crowns. Every year he teaches a Stationary Training Program at the Trek Superstore in La Mesa. In addition to his Stationary Training program, Darryl has an annual on the road training program for cyclists to who want to complete their first Double Century or achieve the California Triple Crown. He has coached cyclists to Double Century successes with: First Double 11 Cyclists Triple Crowns 15 Awards Total Doubles 61 Completed Every Cyclist who completed Darryl's Double Century training program has finished each and every double entered. I work in hospitals and doctors' offices, performing ultrasounds of the heart and blood vessels. I got my training at theGrossmont College Cardiovascular Technology Program. It's an excellent program. After two years, you have the training needed to become a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), or both, like me! And they both started cycling late in life. Gordy is a three-time National Individual Time Trial Champion, and still cycling competitively at 90!
