Archeryimages.net goes FITA TV

About one year ago, the FITA closed it's website archery.tv, the official broadcasting channel of their TV producers FITA TV. Now, the team is hosting all the videos in their Youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/archerytv. This is a fantastic situation, because you can watch hundreds of videos of many different events ( mostly the worldcup ) for free. I really appreciate what the FITA has done here and I am visiting their channel regularily.
To make the videos accessible for you via archeryimages.net I started adding videos to the image galley some time ago. I now managed to integrate them into the gallery and will bring up more the next days. Just watch out for this blue "Play Button" you see on the right. It shows you, whether there is a movie available or not. This is also possible in the "Event Overview": The button here is a lot smaller, it looks like this:  .
Mostly, I added the "TV Magazine" that is produced by the Team of Archery TV. This magazines are about 30 minutes long and are very good summaries of the competition. If you like to see some matches in full length, visit the Archery TV Youtube channel, there is always a lot more to see.

There is now a new news system installed on archeryimages.net.

RSS Feed
For commenting the articles, you need to type in a "captcha". I am sorry for this, but it is absolutely necessary for avoiding spambots to attack the comment function. If you have problems reading the word, there is a "play" button right beside of it, where you are able to listen to the word.
The News System is now fully functionable, but the mainpage has now changed to http://www.archeryimages.net/index.php. You may need to update your bookmark if you saved the .html file in it.
I hope you enjoy this feature and all the pictures shown on this website!

Logos up online

I now managed to repair nearly all damage that was caused by the server downtime lately. Archeryimages is now up to date and fully functionable. With the help of Nils Asmussen from www.script-solution.de I could finally erase the last bugs in the gallery.
Following announcement was already made by me here, but was also deleted while the crash. So, I will repeat it: If you are looking for logos and banners, that where produced exclusively for a certain event, just use the search with typing in "logo". Or simply click here. You will then see all logos that are currently available on archeryimages.

Heavy Problems

As you might have noticed, something went heavily wrong with archeryimages. The hoster had a breakdown of the server (again) and lost a lot of data.
Now, the latest files on this website are from February, some 1000 pictures have to be uploaded and categorized again and features like the the information about the source and videos have to be implemented again. But I promise I will do my best to bring archeryimages up-to-date as soon as possible.
Everything that is online is actually working, so please be appreciative if something here look outdated for you and enjoy watching the pictures.

Total blackout for more than 24 hours

 After a 12h-blackout in Dezember, www.archeryimages.net was yesterday again unavailable for more than 24 hours. I am very sorry about this, but have no idea how this was possible to happen. I'm currently checking if everything is working as normal. If you discover irregularities, please be patient or even better, mail me...And by the way, a happy new year to everybody! EC 2007 Field in Croatia and a new threshold crossed.

Thanks to fieldarcher.org, I am able to present you a bunch of pictures of the European Championships 2007 Field Archery in Bjelovar, Croatia. I started to publish some hundred pictures today and will resume tomorrow to bring up all of the 1,500 pictures I got.
At this point, I think I have to say how much I appreciate the fieldarcher.org-crew's work. I really like the whole website and in my eyes, the people behind fieldarcher.org are doing the archery community a big favour! Please keep on like this!
And by the way, after the first 500 pictures of the EC in Field Archery are now available on archeryimages.net, there are now more than 20,000 pictures hosted on this website.
