As the first Canadian intercollegiate team in recent history the Gee Gees are in their seventh season of competition. The Team provides competitive opportunities for students regardless of horse ownership and skill.

28/10/08: Congratulations to all riders who showed October 26th & 27th at Lehman Farms. All riders performed very well! Special congrats to Alexandria Wilson and Alison Massey who both took home first place ribbons. As well as congratulations to Lisa Dowdall, Jennifer Marcellus, Inez Lutenegger, and Emily Marcogliese who all won second place ribbons. Also, special recognition to Alison Massey and Christina Stringer who both pointed out of their divisions over the weekend. Great job girls!
25/09/08: The 2008-2009 team roster has been posted. Thank you to all those who tried out and congratulations and welcome to those joining the team.
28/08/08: Please note that the date of the Info Session has been changed from September 5th to September 8th at 10 p.m. in Montpetit 207. See you all then!
28/08/08: The general information session will be held on Friday September 5th, 2008 in Montpetit 207 at 10:00 p.m. All riders planning to attend the tryouts must be at this meeting to sign up. Anyone who does not attend will not be allowed to try out. See you all on the 5th!
14/08/08: Tryouts will be held at Zomerkrim Farm in Odessa on September 14th, 2008. Transport details will be released at a later date. All interested riders must sign up at an info session and must attend this tryout. Info sessions will be held during the week prior to tryouts. See you all at the info sessions.
06/08/08: Team info sessions will be held during the first full week of classes in September. Tryouts will be held on a weekend shortly after. Please stay tuned to the website or see posters around campus for exact dates and times. See you in September!
13/04/08: Alison Massey completed the team's 2007-2008 season yesterday at Zone 2 finals, and just barely missed out on the chance on compete at Nationals. Thank you to everyone who helped make this season a success and stay tuned to the website regarding Fall tryouts for 2008!
28/03/08: The team travelled to SLU today for the Zone 2, Region 2 championships. Laurence Roy-Rousseau gave a great showing in Walk-Trot-Canter and Alison Massey qualified for the Zone 2 championships with a third place finish! Congratulations girls and good luck Alison!
03/03/08: The regional championships will be held at St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY on Friday March 28th. The Gee-Gees are sending two riders this year. Alison Massey will compete in the beginner Walk/Trot division and Laurence Roy-Rousseau will compete in Advanced Walk/Trot/Canter. Best of luck girls!
03/03/08: The team finished off strong this weekend with a fourth overall finish at Cazenovia college on Saturday and a very strong showing on Sunday! Congratulations to everyone on a fabulous season this year! See you all in September!
13/12/07: The 2008 Winter team has been posted. Due to the large number of returning members, tryouts were not held this semester. Please keep watching for dates regarding the 2008-2009 team!

13/12/07: Congratulations to all riders on a great semester! After competing at 6 shows, Laurence Roy-Rousseau and Alison Massey both pointed out of their divisions and qualified for regionals! Congratulations girls! Also, Rachel Onfrichuk, Kirstyn Allen, Ariane Brunet, Jessica Sheffield, and Kaitlin Smith all earned first place ribbons throughout the semester! Congratulations to the whole team and see you all in January!
29/11/07: Congratulations to the riders who showed November 17th and 18th at Lehman Farms. All riders rode really well, and Laurence Roy-Rousseau pointed out of Advanced Walk/Trot/Canter and moved up to Novice! Congratulations Laurence. The team travels to Cazenovia, NY this weekend for their 5th show of the semester. Best of luck!
22/10/07: Congratulations to all riders who competed in the first shows of the season this weekend! Everyone did really well. Special congratulations to Rachel Onfrichuk and Kirstyn Allen who both placed first O/F on day two, Inez Leutenegger who won her Beginner WTC class on day two, and Laurence Roy-Rousseau who won her class BOTH DAYS! Congratulations again to everyone!
