In a beautiful time of the year the unsupported Adventure Racing World Series event Explore Sweden is taking place in the High Coast region.
Late summer and early autumn will give the racers a mild climate on a challenging course along the spectacular coastline and archipelago.
The course design will showcase the best part of the area and at the same time put the teams to the test in tactics, navigation, physical and mental strength.
The race includes island traverses, mountainbiking, coasteering, running, ropeworks, inlines, kickbikes, kayaking and much more... The 2008 edition is taking Scandinavian Adventure Racing to a new level regarding organisation, course design and spectacular ropeworks.
 Explore Sweden is a member in the Adventure Racing World Series. This membership means for the winning team a free entry to the Adventure Racing World Championship 2008 that will be held in Brazil. The second placed team in Explore Sweden will also be directly qualified to the World Championship in Brazil.
 Explore Sweden and Abu-Dhabi Adventure Challenge 2008 presents ADTA Awards:
The best placed Scandinavian team that have never raced outside the Nordic countries (Swe, Den, Nor, Fin) will win a free entry and flight tickets to Abu-Dhabi Adventure Challenge in December.
