There is a change of address for the event and we are excited! It will be held at the Hueytown Community Center located at 2501 Brooklane Drive Hueytown Alabama 35023 . It is located right next to the ballpark on Brooklane Drive . This gives much more room for the event. You register for gifts and prizes for drawings that will given all day of the event. Every donor and volunteer in the past blood drives remain our heroes! As past events have help save over 5, 865 lives!!! I want to encourage all to roll up your sleeve and give in this year’s event. You all so register for gifts and prizes for drawings that will be given all day.If for some reason you cannot give have someone stand in for you! Remember to increase your intake of green veggies and water a week before you give this increases your blood volume and your iron levels. If you would like to volunteer in this year’s event please contact me back by email or call 205-862-1299. Any individual living out of the area or out of state may help by donating blood at their area Red Cross center. Please send us an email letting us know of your donation so we may recognize you and add your donation to the units given in honor of the blood drive. Thank you for everything you do to help the American Red Cross and the C.A. blood drive. Personal note: I was ask recently .. why do we keep doing this?..don’t we get tired?..It has been 16 years isn’t this enough? The answer is because there continues to be a need for blood donations. Everyone knows of someone that received blood or has needed it, and no one can predict that they may not need it tomorrow. That’s why we keep on and yes we get tired, but when you see the number of lives 5, 865 that have been saved in the past..you can’t help but get excited for future events! Thank you so much for all you do. Roll up your sleeve and help individuals that are fighting for their lives. Sincerely, Elisa Allison Sproule Clifford Allison was Bobby's youngest son and Davey's little brother. Clifford was a up and coming driver on the Grand National circuit. And was showing alot of promise. Clifford raced the late model division, ARCA, All-Pro series. He won the Montgomery International Raceway Championship in 1987. And served as Crew chief on his Father Bobby's 1988 Busch Grand National Circuit. Which won the Goody's 300 at Daytona. Clifford showed great promise in the ARCA and Busch series and it was a matter of time before he would blossom into greatness. There is no doubt in my mind that Clifford would have been a racing Superstar. And was taken from us way to soon . Clifford died doing what he loved best, and that is racing. Clifford Allison will always be remembered a loving Father, Husband and a True Champion.Clifford went to be with the Lord on August 13, 1992 when he died of injuries from a one car crash at Michigan International Raceway. He will be remembered by family , Friends and Fans as a hard worker determined to succeed. Always joking and having fun. Clifford a devout Catholic is survived by his wife , Elisa , and their three children, Brandon, Tanya, and Leslie. Clifford is missed greatly by fans everywhere.   Website Counters |
