Hot Dog USA Home Page
The Hot Dog USA team has been based at
Helen Keller Elementary school since it's foundation in 1980. The Hot
Dogs are recognized as one of the top ten teams in the world
today. Our jumpers compete at Local, Regional, National, and
World Tournamnets. The Hot Dogs are active is promoting the
sport of jumprope by performing at Professional Sporting Events,
Civic Organizations, on College Campus', and School Assemblies.
We also partner with the American Heart Association in their Jump for
Heart program.

Hot Dog USA presents our fifth
annual Jump Rope Workshop!
We have invited members of the
World and National Championship teams:
Hot Dog USA - The Kangaroo Kids
of Maryland - The Comet Skippers of Ohio
to help us provide you with
top-level instruction for jumpers of all ability levels.
Our workshop is open to all
jumpers 1st grade and older.

Class
Hot Dog USA is
expanding our community outreach to include adults in our workshop
this year! Our adult class will be taught by Roger Crozier,
coach of the Footnotes of San Antonio, Texas for 23 years. Roger has
over 30 years of experience teaching physical education in elementary
schools, high schools and is a part time physical education
instructor at San Antonio College. He is a National Jump Rope
for Heart award winner and a jump rope competitor at regional and
national levels.
The class will
focus on learning the fundamentals of jump rope as a personal fitness
activity as well as a great physical education activity. Adults
will work with single rope, partner skills, long ropes and double
dutch. No experience is necessary. Participants should come
prepared wearing appropriate athletic clothes. Jump ropes can be
purchased or borrowed. As always, observers are welcome at no charge.
Due to the late
notice, there is no deadline but, we would appreciate receiving your registrations
as soon as possible. The optional lunch will be available to
participants whose registrations we receive prior to Saturday
November 22nd. “Walk Ins” will be accepted on
Saturday, but the lunch option will NOT be available at that time.

Rope Team is dedicated to the promotion of the sport of jump rope as
a life-long physical fitness activity. Our purpose is to
inspire, motivate and educate people of all ages, while fostering
local, regional, national and international jump rope competitions,
workshops and performances.
