The state handbook has been updated.
All USAG State Meet Judges were chosen for their assignments based on the following criteria. This information can be found in the USAG Washington handbook.
STATE MEET JUDGES
To be eligible to be a State Championship Judge, you must have an Optional rating. For compulsory state meets, you must have had your optional rating for a minimum of three years. For the optional state meet, you must have had your level 10 rating a minimum of five years.To be eligible to be a Head Judge at a State Competition a judge must have held a level 10 or higher rating for the previous six consecutive years prior to the State Championship.The USAG Washington board bases their State Championship Meet Judges selection on the following criteria:
1.State Professional Member Input
2.Years and Judging Experience
3.Current Judges Rating
4.Current Judges Data
5.Education (State, Regional and National Clinics, Workshops, Etc)
6.Regional Participation at Training Camps
7.In-Gym Hours
8.Volunteer/Service time
9.Number of meets judged at that level.
10.Judges availability and desire to judge the meet.
11.Involvement and contribution in WA. State programs.
12.Follow through on contractual agreements from previous years.
13.Sectional Balance
Follow all guidelines per NAWGJ and USAG rules and polices for Championships.
