Fresh off winning the Alberta Amputee Open tournament in Lacombe July 26th-27th, and then winning the Below Elbow division of the US National Amputee championships in Castle Rock, Colorado August 18 – 21st, John Mc Naughton of Grande Prairie (AASRA Director at Large – Membership) won the 2008 Canadian Amputee National Open golf tournament held at the beautiful Crown Isle Resort, Comox, British Columbia, August 25th -28th. John won by an impressive 4 strokes over Dan Cox (Wi,USA) and another 4 strokes over Bob Mac Dermott (Ab,Canada) Congratulations John!
