Max Tan wins 2 gold medals for Singapore

The Riding for the Disabled Association of Singapore (RDA) was recently invited by the National Paralympic Committee of China in conjunction with the China Disabled Person’s Federation and the Chinese Equestrian Association to participate in the Guangdong CPEDI* competition from 7th March to 9th March 2008. It was held at the Guangdong Huangcun Training Centre, in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China. This was a Prequalifier for the 2008 Beijing Paralympics and sanctioned by the Federation Equestrian Internationale (FEI). (more…)

Dressage Rider Laurentia Tan Qualifies for the 2008 Hong Kong Para Olympics!

The World Para Dressage Championships 2007, one of the qualifiers for Para Olympics 2008, was held in the well-known Hartpury College in England from 18th – 22nd July 2007. This was the first-ever International Championship for our upcoming young Singaporean riders – Laurentia Tan and Maximillian Tan (Max). Competing in the same field with them are top Para riders like Athens Para Olympic Gold Medalists’ Lee Pearson and Debbie Criddle (Great Britain), Irene Slaettengren (Sweden), and Ann Cathrin Lubbe (Norway). We are constantly looking for new volunteers to help run our sessions. You can be a part of this worthy cause, all it takes is about 2 hours a week. Sessions run Monday to Saturday, morning and afternoon so you are sure to find a time slot that suits your schedule.
