You can also read theWSF's Constitution andprinciples; and a list of answers toFrequently Asked Questions about our organization is availablehere.Lawsuit against ISU DismissedFriends of World Skating Federation,I am very disappointed to report that U.S. District Judge John Sprizzohas dismissed the lawsuit filed by the WSF against the InternationalSkating Union. Although the ruling is not the one we had expected, wemust accept the ruling of the court.In the near future documents shall be filed to dissolve the WSF.The organization may cease to exist but the ideals shall continue. Weput important issues about our sport out for debate and we can be proudof the efforts that have been made on behalf of our athletes and sport.The hope and optimism, which existed the day the WSF was announced, hasbeen greatly diminished by actions from the ISU, certain memberfederations, and finally, this ruling. Yet the support for the coreprinciples on which the WSF was founded live on. I know that all of usremain committed to these principles. Our sport must have activeparticipation by its athletes, open and honest judging, and democraticgovernance without any geographical area of the world controlling thesport.For me personally it has been a privilege to be part of this movement.I want to thank all those who supported the WSF, morally andfinancially.
