Ekstremsportveko is the biggest sport and music festival of its kind, and is
hosted every year in Voss, Western Norway. We host competitions in kayaking, rafting,
mtb-bmx, kiting, skydiving, paragliding, hanggliding, multisport, freeride, big
air, climbing, BASE and longboarding. For one whole week national/ international
athletes are competing and challenging themselves in the elements. However, competitions
are not always central for all the sports. The sharing of knowledge, when hundreds
of top athletes are gathering this last week of June, is important.
The various sports is the main focus of Ekstremsportveko, however the music program
has become an important part for the total experience of the festival. The last
three days of the festival national and international exciting artists are spicing
up the festival with their vibrant music within the genres; pop, rock, funk and
reggae!
Please note that Ekstremsportveko is NOT an adventure company who offers various
activities or accommodation. If you would like to experience the beauty of Voss
or try out some thrilling activities, you have to book these directly yourself.

Ekstremsportveko is owned by the non-profit organization “The Ekstreme Voss Foundation.”
Voss Rafting Club, Voss Kayak Club, Voss Hang and Paraglider Club and Skydive
Voss are the four local clubs who represent Ekstreme Voss. There are two people
working in the administration full time all year round. In addition to this, Ekstremsportveko
rely heavily on positive and hard working people. Every year 300-400 volunteers
contribute to make the festival a huge success. In 2008 we even had volunteers
