Knights Drop Heartbreaker
(04-17-06)--Regulation was not enough time to settle this PAC contest as Rosemont and Arcadia battled into double overtime before Rosemont converted a rebound off a Michelle Leone '08 save with 3 seconds remaining in the second overtime to give Rosemont the 9-8 victory.
Leone was huge at the end of regulation and in both overtimes as she turned back 3 breakaways giving the Knights hope. But, as the season has gone, the Knights got a few bad breaks hitting the post on three shots before losing the scrum that lead to the winning goal in front of the net.
The Knights will travel to Gwynedd Mercy Thursday for another PAC showdown. Game time is 4:00pm.

Eastern Rolls Past Arcadia
(04-06-06)--The Knights were never able to get going as Eastern scored the first 7 goals of the game in route to the 19-2 win.
Michelle Leone '08 recorded 12 saves on 31 shots. The Knights Melanie Mark '09 and Jamie Arielle '08 each tallied a goal in the loss.
The Knights are back in action Saturday when they travel to PAC rival Cabrini. Game time is 1:00pm.

Knights Can't Keep Pace, Fall To Alvernia
(04-05-06)--The Arcadia University women's lacrosse team hung with Alvernia through one half but could not keep pace in the second half as they fell to Alvernia 20-9.
Jamie Stevenson '08 continued to be the consistent offense as she netted 4 first half goals. The Crusaders pounded Knights' goalie Michelle Leone '08 as she faced 38 shots recording 18 saves. Melanie Mark '09 and Kate Beers '09 recorded 2 goals each. Sarah Zacharias '08 also registered a goal in the loss.
The Knights look to get back into the win column Saturday when they travel to Cabrini for a PAC contest. Game time is 1:00pm.

Knights Battle, Fall To Misericordia
(03-26-06)--College Misericordia and the Knights played a seesaw affair until the second half when Misericordia seized control to take the 11-7 victory in a PAC math-up.
The first half saw an evenly played contest as neither team was able to get more than a one goal cushion on the other. Jamie Steveson '08 single handedly kept the Knights in the game recording a hat trick in the first thirty minutes of action. The teams went to the break tied at 5. In the second half, Misericordia scored three goals in five minutes to give them the separation they needed as Arcadia could not keep pace. The Cougars would add three more goals to give them eleven on the game. Jakki Timony '08 recorded if first ever goal and also had an assist for the Knights. Erin Cunningham '09, Kaylyn Fain '06, and Kristi Homan '05 tallied the other goals for the Knights. Michelle Leone '08 did her best to keep the Cougars off the board as she recorded a season high 20 saves.
The Knights fall to 1-2 overall and 1-1 in the PAC. Arcadia will look to even their record Wednesday when they host PAC rival Neumann. Game time is set for 3:30pm.
Knights Never Get Going, Fall to Bryn Mawr
(3-23-06)--The Knights never mustered any attack as they gave up four early goals to fall behind. The Knights never really recovered as they fell in a non-conference game with Bryn Mawr 17-6.
The Knights goalkeeper Michelle Leone '08 faced 30 shots as she registered 8 saves. Melanie Mark '09 (1 assist) and Jill Hersh '09 each scored 2 goals while Jamie Stevenson '08 and Erin Metz '09 added one each. Shannon Bustin '09 and Jaa Dyer '06 registered assists.
The Knights look to rebound Saturday when they travel to Misericordia in a PAC match-up. Game time is 1:00pm.
Knights Open Season With Come From Behind Win
(3-21-06)--The Knights opened their 2006 lacrosse season with a tough come from behind win over conference foe Immaculata. The Mighty Macs gave up the first goal to the Knights Erin Cunningham'09, who registered her first career goal ,(assist Jakki Timony '08) before tallying the next three to take the early 3-1 advantage. The two teams would alternate goals before half to give Immaculata the 5-2 halftime lead.
The offensive attack woke up early in the second half as Jamie Stevenson '08 tallied a goal, one of her four on the day, on a great feed from Shannon Bustin '09 at the 28:40 mark to close the gap to 5-3. Shannon Bustin then recorded her first collegiate goal off a pass from Maureen Powers '08 to trim the lead to 5-4. The Mights Macs answered with a goal from Jenn Hogg to push the lead to 6-4. The Knights would then score the next three goals to make the final 9-6. Jill Hersh '09 and Melanie Mark '09 also registered career firsts for the other goals. Michelle Leone '08 tallied 14 saves in the win.
The Knights return to action Thursday at Bryn Mawr. Game time is 4:00pm.
