Ray LaCroix is a horseman who has had 25 years experience and show ring
success in getting horses to willingly, and predictably perform to their
best abilities, winning over 200 National Championships in every major
discipline along the way. While almost any horse of any breed will happily
perform beautiful, collected movements at play, Ray has built his career
on training horses to transfer this joyous spirit to their performance
in the show ring- not for just a few strides, but for an entire event,
time after time for both professional and amateur riders.
In 1991, Ray became interested in accelerated learning techniques in
order to speed up the "learning curve" for his amateur riders. After taking
two years of advanced communication courses from the country's top sports
psychologists, not only did Ray dramatically change his style of teaching,
he began to apply the principles of accelerated learning models to horsemanship
techniques as well. The results of these efforts have been much more far-reaching
than even Ray had imagined; the results being the creation of the ACCEL®
Horsemanship Seminar Series designed to benefit all horse people who
desire to learn, and accomplish more with their horses.
Today, Ray LaCroix is making his twenty-five-year-long learning curve
available to other riders who want to avoid years of trial and error,
and move directly into effective, successful communication with their
horses. ACCEL®'s goal of giving each rider the knowledge to be responsible
for his or her own ride has enabled many ACCEL®
graduates to compete successfully without a professional trainer.

Whatever your goal in the world of pleasure horses, show horses and competition,
Ray is available to help on a one-on-one basis through personalized
consultations. Horses and riders trained by Ray can account for over
200 National Champion and Reserve Champion wins, and literally hundreds
of National Top Tens. Of Ray's amateur clients, over 50% won either National
Champion or Reserve National Champion titles.

FINDING THE PERFECT PARTNER
To a large extent, our enjoyment of horse sports depends on finding the
right horse. The right horse for you needs to be a horse that is first
of all sound, and secondly built to do the job you plan to ask of him.
Thirdly, he needs to have the mentality to be a good partner. Sound like
a tall order?
Ray LaCroix numbers among his clients many of America's top breeding
farms and show horse barns, and has the opportunity to evaluate horses
long before they come on the general market. He's also worked with many
of the top seasoned show horses in the US. In the near future, Ray plans
to publish a photo directory of quality
show, breeding and pleasure horses available for sale, updated monthly.
Only good, honest horses will be listed, and only after Ray has evaluated
them personally to make sure they are as represented. Ray will also work
with individuals to find a that special horse.
