FIRST AID COURSE
Access Training in
conjunction with the Auburn cricket club is holding a
First Aid training course on Sunday 26th October at
Dooleys Waterside. You can read all about the
course and see the downloadable application form by
clicking on the thumbnail of the brochure on the left.
This course meets all
of the new national accreditation standards for
WorkCover and replaces the old course standards which
will become obsolete from next June.

MYCRICKET
cket Australia has
adopted ResultsVault for all cricket at all levels
around Australia and has renamed it MyCricket.
The menu selections at the top have been changed to
reflect the new structure. Under MYCricket, the
Club Championship tables and other tables will now be
updated directly by the SCA.
 ALEX
MURPHY NEW AUBURN COACH
The Auburn committee
are delighted to announce the appointment of Alex
Murphy as the new Auburn Head Coach. Alex is a
formally qualified coach with a successful record of
success as a Grade 1st grade opening batsman. As
a school teacher he is also trained as a professional
educator and will bring a new level of discipline to
Auburn training and coaching.
Once Alex has settled
in and has new training practices in place, he will be
happy to work with individual players on skills
development. In particular, young players to the
club should seek him out for advice.
MICHAEL WOOD HONOURED WITH SCA LIFE MEMBERSHIP
 The
entire Auburn club applauds the major honour bestowed
on Mike Wood on Monday 18th August at the SCA Annual
General Meeting. The SCA Delegates voted
unanimously in favour of Mike Wood becoming only the
18th ever Life Member of the Sydney Cricket
Association.
Mike has dedicated
himself to lifting the Auburn club to its current
pre-eminent status of Club Champions. Auburn players
now enjoy the best facilities, the best teas and the
best grounds anywhere in Shires cricket and equal to
the best anywhere in Australian club cricket.
This is a tribute to Mike's dedication and hard work.
