We always have
home-bred, excellent quality horses for sale. They all trace
back to our original herd sire, R.H.B. Emblem, and/or
Jack (both pictured below). Our current herd sire is Sonador
Farm's Excalibur (pictured below). Our broodmare line traces
back to MI DID's DOLL (pictured in our gallery).
We have several
references from satisfied owners of our Percherons and
Percheron/Thoroughbred crosses.

Farm is located in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia (60 miles west of
Washington, D.C.).

"Excalibur" is a registered
Percheron (219184) sired by Pennwoods Fashion's Spiderman (a South
Valley Prince HA HA son) and out of E.S.P. Francois' Janice. "Ex"
is black and stands 17.1hh. Excellent feet, clean bone, good
disposition...sure breeder of "modern-type" foals.

Carousel's Hummer
"Hummer" is a 2-year-old,
Percheron gelding. Hummer is a fine gentleman; he is a dream to work with
and be around. Hummer is sired by our stallion, Excalibur. He is very modern
and he has excellent feet. Hummer ties, clips, bathes, and stands great to
trim his feet. Hummer is a 1/2 brother to "Luther" (pictured in our photo
gallery). He should mature around 17 hands. Hummer is a very sensible, quick
learner who has the potential to be anything from a performing, competitive
athlete to a commercial hitch gelding.

They range in height from 16.2hh to 18hh; we have both blacks and grays.
Carousel's Sapphire Blue
"Sapphire" is a 7-year-old,
18hh, Registered Percheron mare. Sapphire is a daughter of Midnight Blue
(pictured in our Gallery) and Jack. She is in foal to our stallion,
Excalibur, for 2009. Sapphire had her first filly sired by Excalibur in
2007. Sapphire is being sold with the 2007 filly and in foal for 2009.

"J-Rose" is a 5-year-old, 17.2
hh, Percheron mare. J-Rose is well broke to ride and drive, single or
double. She has a great disposition. No vices. She loves
attention...an absolute doll! She was born on our farm and handled from
birth. J-Rose has solid feet; she is clean boned and is more of the
"modern type". She has unlimited crossbreeding potential.
J-Rose would make a great carriage horse, pleasure or show horse in any
discipline. She loads, ties, clips, bathes, and is very patient for
trimmings. Very nice mare!

Carousel's Rock -
SALE PENDING - July 22, 2008
"Rock" is a 6-year-old,
18.1hh, Percheron gelding. Rock currently rides and drives around our farm,
alone or with a group of horses. He is a 'uphill' mover; he's very athletic
and enthusiastic. He needs a committed and experienced rider/trainer/owner
to make him 'just right'.
Rock is extremely gentle to handle and he is very
friendly. He's always looking for attention and he begs for a cold hose on a
warm day! He is great with his feet, ties, clips, bathes, and loads! He was
born on the farm and handled from birth. No vices; he is 100% sound and
healthy. He would be a great team horse, carriage horse, trail horse, and a
wonderful show/competition horse for dressage, eventing, or fox hunting.
This horse has a great head on his shoulders and unlimited potential!
