The MGA shall provide leadership, systems, and programs so that all participants may safely achieve their potential level of interest and ability. WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 1st, 2008 Coaches Wanted Springers Gymnastics requires a part-time pre-school (Ages 2-5) gymnastics coach for daytime classes. Experience is not necessary, but background in gymnastics or childcare would be an asset. The position will be approximately 20 hours per weeek (Monday-Friday). Beausejour Elites requires an experienced coach to work primarily with our Regional Stream Advanced and Advanced Optional program. Level 1 certification is required. Wage is negotiable. NCPP newform.pdf Flippers Gymnastics Training Camp July 21-25, 2008 Men’s Technical Committee Chairperson’s Report – Patrick Oystryk  I was invited to coach a group of boys at the Flippers Gymnastics Club for their summer camp from July 21st to July 25th. I was at first surprised when Bonita, the head coach, informed me that the gymnasts would be training all the way through the day from 9:00am till 4:00pm with only a lunch break and two snack breaks. This was going to be a serious and hard working training camp. However, the days went by very quickly and I was excited and proud of the progress and the amount of fun we were all having during our training. Bonita and her family welcomed me into their home for the week and were extremely hospitable. The highlight of the week was participating in the annual Steinbach parade on the morning of July 25th. I found it unbelievable how many residents lined the streets for all the floats.  I am convinced that our modest wagon was definitely the crowd pleaser with all the gymnasts cartwheeling and tumbling down the road behind us. I would like to thank Bonita and Flippers Gymnastics for hosting this gymnastics camp and allowing me to coach and partake in a fantastic week of gymnastics. It was great to see first hand such enthusiasm for our sport. If any clubs would like to host a gymnastics camp/clinic, the MTC is willing to provide an experienced men’s coach to help with the training of our young gymnasts across the province.
