NCGA Home Page       UW-La Crosse looking for 7 straight!     In 1983 just after the arrival of scholarships inwomen's sports the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association was formed to bethe governing body of women's gymnastics at the Division III college level.Unique in it's design the NCGA is organized and administered by the coaches,member schools, and athletes that benefit from its programs. The policies of theNCGA are deeply rooted in the spirit of athletic competition.Each year the top teams and individuals areinvited to compete for the NCGA Championship. Hosted by a member school, theNCGA Championships have become a premier event in collegiate gymnastics. All ofthe athletes who participate do so without scholarships or monetary reward, theyare involved because they love the sport and the joys of competition. Thecommitment of our coaches, athletes, and member schools is our greateststrength. It is our goal to provide an environment for the non-scholarshipgymnast to compete on a national level well into the future. |
