WHAT’S NEW AT THE ‘LODE?
The Crocs MotherLode Volleyball Classic has, always, strived to be one
of the best beach volleyball tournaments in the Country. Not only with
the competition – which is a given, with hundreds of volleyball
enthusiasts participating from all over North America; but, also by
being held in one of America’s favorite resorts, Aspen. There is so much
more to do in the Aspen/Snowmass area over Labor Day Weekend, that it
makes The ‘Lode much more than just a volleyball Tournament. It makes it
an Event. Not only a high-level competition in sand, and grass,
volleyball; but, also THE ‘social Event of the outdoor volleyball
season’.
Even if we didn’t offer a “Player’s Party” on Sunday night -- or, the
daily Corona Light/Barefoot Wine Crocs MotherLode “cocktail parties”,
held at various locations throughout Aspen, everyone would still have a
great time when they are not on the courts. With over 100 bars and
restaurants and a multitude of outdoor adventures in this spectacular
setting, no wonder competitors flock to this mountain Mecca
year-after-year to renew old friendships; create new ones; and to
celebrate the sport of beach volleyball.
Many lodging properties work with MotherLode Volleyball Productions
to help provide discounted lodging for the weekend. And, airfares –
directly into Aspen via Frontier, United, and Delta airlines -- are
fairly reasonable when booked in advance. (Check out the “Lodging” page
on our web site for information on our ‘Preferred Crocs MotherLode
Housing Representatives’.)
So, get your entries in (some Divisions fill quickly) and make your
reservations early. Don’t miss out on one of North America’s premier
doubles volleyball Events.
